Looks like a female to me, can't see a gonopodium, just a normal anal fin.

I'm positive that its a pregnant balloon molly, mollys usually stay pregnant for 1-2months at the most. If you starve the fish, it may suffer birthing complications like aborting its fry which is bad.
You should feed mollys a mix of veg based and high protein based foods as they are omnivours and do best on a varied diet- feeding 2-3 small portions of food a day is best as they have quite short guts, so small but regular meals are better than large but not so regular meals.

thats how i alreayd feed them :D

thx all ne ways tho i dident want a pregnant molly lol :( how many babies do u think she will have :S :S :S :S

It varies a huge deal, anything from 10 to 50+ fry, but 20 is a more common amount. If you don't want the fry or don't have the space to raise them in, just leave the fry in the tank and the majority will get eaten by the adults eventually. Either that, or you can just cull/euthanise them when they are born.

Do you know how to tell mollys genders apart? You should find out how many males or females you have exactly as its very important with mollys to have the right amount of each genders or numbers of males/females in the tank.

thats the think i only have 2 and they are boath females i brought them from the shop at the same thime whitch is y i cant understand y they are pregnant the 2 sex's were in seprate tanks so i think it must be the next virgin mary but in a fish tank :D (any 1 got a spare inn?)

Pet shops often get fish genders mixed up even in supposedly one-gender tanks- also if the fish came to the shop in a mixed group, but only sorted out the genders at the last moment, that would also be a good explanation as to why they are pregnant.
Mollys, like many other livebearer fish, can store sperm in them for months as well, so they only have to have contact with one male once in their life to get pregnant numerous times. Basically, its very rare to get virgin mollys ;) .

If you only have two female mollys, you should get at least one more female, as mollys are social fish and with only two in the tank, one may turn into a bully and harrass the less dominant one. With another female though, the pecking order will be a lot less one-sided.
You should get a pic of your other molly though and post it here just to make sure its a female though  .

well if you have a quorntine tank you could move the prego one into that and once it has its babys you could put it back into the other tank to make sure all the babys live. she will also be pretty weak after birth so your fish might be pickin on her. i kept 5 of my mollys because out of two prego ones those were the only ones that survived. if you don't want to keep all the fry i beat an lfs would take them off your hands for store credit.
