a few months back I got some fry from Fishfarm at the Atlanta Area Aquarium Society fish auction. i've always loved how convicts look and when i was promised pretty colors, i thought "sure, why not." anyways, i finally got a pair to form this week and i am stoked! the female is sooo gorgeous and the male is just the cutest little thing in my tank.
thing is, i have to get rid of the extra fry. so whoever wants them can have them for just the cost of shipping. there is definitely one other female in the group, but i can't really sex the other 4. they're tough as nails but a little people shy. however, the pair that i moved to the big tank are a lot more lively now that they have places to hide and things to chase. i tell you what, there isn't much funnier than seeing a little 1" convict flare up at a 4" severum
it doesn't really work, but the little man keeps trying.
