I have a well established tank .. and one of my community fish has a lump that is extremely prevelant. The lump is protruding from the right side of his dorsal fin .. i'm not sure what to do exactly -- it appeared about 3 days ago -- and grew larger in the last day -- god forbid it pop and cause him to be exposed to some normally not dangerous element in the tank -- just not quite sure what to do. Anyone have any advice in this matter? I have a pic of it -- but couldn't import the pic to this forum .. anyone ??? It's about as tall and wide as an eraser tip -- a little bit smaller .. he doesn't seem affected -- has a wonderful appetite still .. and doesn't seem agitated at all .. Any input would be appreciated :)

Hi Sancha and wecome to the forum,

Try reposting in the nearby emergency section of our forums in case Wilder and the other emergency section folks don't see your post over here (some may still see it here so chk back here too though.)
