My Diy 3D Background. New Finished Pic

Hi all, well i though i would have a go at making my own background with a lot of help from my girlfriend . Let us know what you think.

First we drew rough outlines on the piece of polystyrene.

The tank awaiting its finishing touch.

Then we took the knifes too it, gradually scraping out in between the "rock" type drawings.

And ive just finished adding the first coat of cement to it.

lol its in the garage on some cardboard think the GF would have killed me if i did it in the house .

It looks good dude! Do you plan to use something over the top of the cement? Definitely update and pics when it's done and installed!

Thanks guys, as far as putting something over the cement, from what ive read and seen on you tube theres no need if you let it soak for a few days plus its a waterproof cement.

Ooh I know what I was going to ask - did you get the poly sheet from somewhere locally or online? Just for future reference...
