My Cichlids

Very nice MXPX4318, sticking to one rainbow is a very good idea, because if you get a pair, the tank will become one big nighmare  The sev looks great BTW :)

Thanks guys. :) Sorry to kinda hijack your thread, MXPX4318. :*)

No problem Splish, that's what this forum is for, to help each other out. I was thinking about trying one more cichlid in there of medium size (like the rainbow). I was thinking of keeping a pair of kribs in the tank but then I decided I do not want to end up with a breeding pair of cichlids that disturb the peace. Any suggestions for one more medium sized cichlid?

A blue acara would probably do well in that setup

Hmm... blue acara, eh? Are they particularly delicate or agressive?

I don't have much experience with them but they are semi aggressive and i think they get around the same size as firemouths :)

Okay, thanks Dwarfs. :)

thanks guys for the compliments, the scientific name for the "rainbow cichlid" is "Herotilapia multispinosa" so maybe it is the same. They're great fish, I can't wait till he colors up a bit more, as he matures yellows and blues are supposed to brighten up.
