Bn need bog wood and a bit of mopani wood goes down well too, thay like broad leaf plants like java fern etc aswell. Plenty of caves/rocks are a must
Your gravel seem very shallow at 1/2" IMHO as plecs like to nose through the gravel and scavenge food
What temp is your tank ??? plecs esp bn's dont like it too cold tbh
