My Breeding Pair

This is the pair of bettas I won recently on e-bay. They were listed as: Mithril Half Moon bettas - in a metallic chainmail colour. !!!!!

I've seen fish of a similar looking colour on some posts and they have been called coppers. Can anyone please confirm the correct colour name for my pair,- and also what on earth is a Mithril Half Moon! Plus the male looks the same tail type as my SD male betta

Those are copper dragons. The seller is just making up fancier sounding colors to move the sale. Mithril is the fantasy material that elven clothes are made of in Lord of the RIngs.
They are just making up that coloration...just to sound "fancier".
Lovely fish tho, although the famale is a little beat up and her scales are imperfect.

I'm not worried about my girl being imperfect as I'm not planning to breed from them. I just liked the look of them on e-bay! They are both super natured and a lovely addition to my community tank

No he's not flared yet. Did you get the fish you were after?
