I have a black molly in my 40 gallon aquarium that seems to be sick. She seems fine and normal most of the time but occasionally I'll find her just sitting motionlessly on the bottom, if I walk by or close she will get up and seem perfectly normal. She looks healthy with no external signs of disease and breathes normal. The only thing that I have noticed that is odd is sometimes she will have completely clear waste.
My aquarium has been running for several months now with no problems other than about a month ago I had an albino cory that had slight fin rot, I treated with maracyn-oxy and was clear within 2 days. I do a 25-30% water change every 2 weeks and the water tests nearly, if not perfect regularly. I have a penguin 350 bio filter that does an awesome job of keeping the water clean and clear.
I have 3 platy's, 2 black molly's 4 zebra danio's, and 2 albino cory's. I have had the 2 mollies since I set up the aquaium about 4 months ago and the problem has been for the last 5 days or so with no signs of getting worse or better. All other fish are normal.
I keep the temp at 75 degrees, I raised it to 80 for 5 days while treating the albino cory's fin rot about a month ago.
Doesn't seem serious yet, but I am somewhat worried, don't know what it is, maybe something internal?
Any advice or experience with something similar would be much appreciated.
