well after reading bout bettas on wednesday decided to go have a look see wat my lfs had and came home wiv this

my 2yr old has named him thomas cuz he is blue like the train lol

and today went to pick up a new tank for thomas and seen this other betta

sons also called him james from the train lol

so have now been bitten by the betta bug and am already lookin for places to put more tanks lol
 
they will be goin in the same tank when i get a divider sorted for em free up some space for a bigger tank for more bettas :lol:

the blue one looks like he may have white spot in that picture? does he have white specs on his skin?
 
just had a closer look at him it looks like he does have whitespots on him so will go down lfs tomorrow and get some treatment for him
 
Well spotted Tilly. I swear you have the eyes of an eagle :lol:

He should be fine as you've caught it early. I would also start raising the temperature gradually up to 80 - 82f this will help speed up the cycle too, as well as adding the meds as soon as you get them.

Well I was thinking about getting a betta - Now this bug is spreding im not sure. My dad would kill me if i got any more tanks :crazy:
 
They are beautiful, have fun. We have been bitten by the Betta bug too & I spent last night figuring out how to divide my tanks to fit in more.
