My Bettas

a lil update been to the lfs today and got some api white spot cure stuff and added 2.5ml when i got home.

on the label it says to only does once every 48hrs 3times then do a water change is this enough or should i add more doses?

another quick question looking at thomas (the blue one) now it looks like most of teh white spot that he had on him this morning have all gone is this normal for the treatment to work this quick.
and also would it be ok to do a water change with the meds in or shall i wait to finish them first

It looked like a smudge on the glass to me!
But they are very beautiful, congratulations :)

It is if you caught it early which you did here. White spots will appear to almost drop off with treatment and as it was just the start of infection I wouldnt be surprised to see spots disappear

you can do a water change and add meds accordingly i.e. 10% water change add 10% of your original dose of meds back into the tank

 once you have been bitten there is no going back. We are supposed to be going away for a few days tomorrow and I know of one of 2 shops that sell bettas I am looking for a dalmation one.... :shifty:
mite just put a spot of water treatment in my suitcase and a smidge of food in case :shifty: :shifty:

k thanks for all ur help.

Make sure to keep dosing for white spot, as it is the stage when they drop off the fish that the meds kill the white spot, otherwise they will just reproduce and attach to the fish again
