I'm a professional photographer, can't you tell?

Sory, that wasn't even funny. :look: Sorry for the lousy picture quality. Anyone who's willing, feel free to let me in on the big secret of how to take decent fish photos. I could really use the help, as you can probably tell.

Anywho, so here's the group:

Raphael: red crowntail

Leonardo: blue veil-tail

Donnetello: Purple Veil-tail

Michaelangelo: Yellow Veil-tail

Laviticus: Blue/red crowntail

Here are the photos I have:

They're betta keepers.... I really don't have room for big tanks in my dorm. Plus, I have to haul them home when I go on break.

Nice fish :)

The only tip I can give for taking pics is.. take lots and be patient ! Assuming your camera auto focusses you may want to switch to macro mode so it focusses on close up objects. If you can focus by holding the button half way down then the other trick is to focus on a plant or something int he tank then move the camera to the same distance from the fish while keeping the button held half way, then snap off the pic of the fish.

I think I mentioned elsewhere... I quite regularly end up with 20 poor pics for each good one :D

Thank you, Glod! I'll have to try that. Although I can't promise you I'll get anything good.... I'm really not that handy with a digital camera

Thank you. And, lo and behold, a slightly better pic!

Ahh, the second picture in your last post is my new background.

My tip for taking fish pic: Don't use blitz ;)

Bettaguy: Aww, thank you!

Here's a few new photos of the new guy, Leviticus. I absolutely *love* taking pictures of him, almost as much as he clearly loves flaring for the camera. He's such a ham, really....

I'm so glad I got him!!

Lovely fish!

When taking the picture, try aiming down away from the light. You will see that the pic darkens in the view finder.

I also take 25 pics for every few I like. I can fill up a whole card and only like 3 or 4.

I tried aiming away somewhat, but it wasn't really working for me. I'll try again :D
