Kinda both, they are actually house plants, but they survive for a little bit underwater, hence why they are so cheapOh ok, is it semi aquatic or non aquatic?
What i shall now do is try it out the water, and then if it starts to die, put it back in the water?
Would that be ok to do?

The plant maybe some species of Bamboo Plant, doubt it though. Will need a better picture of it to be able to ID it
