My Beautiful Betta, "fade"

oh sorry.
we are thinking about removing the mirror. I bought the tank second hand so there are places on the tank where the mirror is peeling off. We just aren't sure how to do it, and that would possibly involve disturbing the tank as it is up against the wall. Any ideas?

aww i love it when they do that, i had 1 that flared everytime i went to walk away so of course he came home with me  the guy was like why won't you move from that 1 tank
Fade is our second betta. I have one in my bedroom that is really calm and docile so he is nice to watch when I am laying down for bed. Very calming little guy.

Not sure how to remove the mirror but I think you should remove it. You don't want him constantly flaring up at himself as it will stress him out and may get him sick.

I don't like Guppys in with Bettas as Guppys have large tails that fakes a betta into thinking the guppies are Bettas and they may fight. Study his fins closely daily with a magnifying glass to insure the platies and guppies are not fin nipping him. Betta fins are like caviour and are delicious to other fish.

Maybe get another 5 or 10 gallon tank to give the betta for himself. That would be great. :)

He has long since been removed from the tank. I took him out after a couple of days because the other fish were bothering him. He didn't get sick for a while after that. He was perfectly healthy. And I recently updated the post. Fade died 5 days ago.
