Hi,

I hav a tank full of pandas and i think they spawn without me knowing at the back of the tank...One day i saw 3 extremely small pandas around 1cm but their colouration is grown fully....They were so cute .Was it even possible for them to survive as i have so many cories in my tank???

Hi raeburter :)

Yes, it's entirely possible that your pandas might be spawning without your noticing it. They like to hide their eggs, and if your tank has adequate places for the newly hatched fry to hide, some of them could very well survive.

Whether or not they do as well as fry raised in a tank by themselves is another matter entirely though. Cory fry definitely do best when you can feed them generously with tiny food and do partial water changes daily.

IMHO, all babies are cute, but panda fry are exceptional!

Another Question...Most of my pepper colouration fade.....But my pandas in the same tank is doing very well some of them the black is so solid....What could be the reason, is it that they are not used to the surroundings as i realisead them 2 weeks ago only, or do pepper dislike a certain thing??

You might check the ideal water temps for both. I can't remember what the peppers like. The pandas like the lower half of the 70's as I remember. What are the rest of the tank residents and conditions?

I suppose they could still be settling in. :/
