My Angelfish Laid Eggs

however i didn't get any of them because i had no where to put them you see.
next time round, i shall have somewhere to put them and keep the fry = ]

just taking photos of my angelfish, i noticed some odd behaviour...

the fish right at the bottom isn't part of a pair but the other in the photo, i beleive if male (as this was the one not laying eggs). notice the dorsal fin. its been torn. part of mating serimony thingy majiger?

this is the female just about to lay the eggs on a leaf. a few seconds later i realised what they were doing. (photo uploaded at wrong angle)

ive only had the angels for like a month. is this quick pairing up? or normal behaviour?

My golly gosh. The anal fins on your angels look very young. They look like they shape of a angel 2" long. How old and big are they?

If you can reply back and let me know how to post images onto this than I'll show my angels.

mine have just started lying again, after the addition of new fish. if you are gona try to keep these, if they hatch, you will need to be quick, or they will become food!

sorry yes, that would be best! an airstone and some anti fungal would do the trick!

it is suggested to me to put a bit of slate in the tank, hopefully the angels will lay on that. after they lay you can take the slate out and put it in your incubator tank. then you will need to sort out a brine shrimp hatchery, to feed the young!

Yes, I would just rahter feed frozen baby brine shrimp and mushed up flakes, you might get a 10% survival rate but thats still 50 or so angels.
