Well here's my tank. i need a background for sure :D looks not so good, but i'm too lazy. running the itnernal filter and a pro 3 aswell. i know there's a lot of fishes so i need both atm. as for it's overstocked i am to give a jd and fm away. yes the tin's will grow big but nothing is permanent in life. anwyay they are all very small! it's a juwel vision 260. roughly 68 gallons.

excuse me for the pic quality or style. i've never taken pics before.

1 GT 3.5 INCHES
2 JD'S 3.5 INCHES
2 CON'S 2.5 AND 3.5 INCHES
2 FM'S 3 INCHES
4 TINFOIL'S 4.5 INCHES
2 BLUE LOBSTERS (CRAYFISH) 4 INCHES
1 COMMON PLECO. 10-12 INCHES

My GT. had him when he was more like 1.5 inch. starting to get his colours. i love the way he swims and looks.

hope you enjoy. any advise will be ncie :0 many thanks. hope my pics come otu good. im new to pics on forums :p

Nice looking fish, very attractive. Is that tank big enough though? Seems like it has a lot of fish in it for its size.

God Bless,
Joshua

Very nice pics. But tank overstock. Upgrade the tank it will be gr8.

Wow, looking great. Love the rocky setup.

TBH I really hate the look of tanks that have only 1/2 fishes in 100/1000galons.

As you meantioned, nothing is permanent. So ignore the comments about being overcrowed.
IF you keep on track of your NO2/NO3 and know when to make waterchanges, things will be fine.
+ as the fishes grow, I'm sure you will do as any loving keeper would and grow to a larger setup aswell.

Live for today and worry later about tomorrow. Afterall you wouldnt buy an adult size pair of shoes for a baby (just because one day (after many years) he/she will need something of that size).

I like your tinfoils ! :good:

For your information, your pleco isn't common pleco. It's a Glyptoperichthys gibbiceps (sailfin pleco/leopard sailfin pleco).

Do you have any problem keeping a crayfish with your fish? I've heard that they do attack small fish some times.

look good! just wondering, wouldnt the gt be all hard on the other cichlids? and i personally see the lobster as a threat to the fishes

well for now i don't think it is overstocked. the fishes are healthy and water parametres are great. as i said everythingt changes in the future and either i will buy a bigger tank or give some fishes away. already plan on giving a jd and fm away.

oh thanks to who mentioend about my pleco being a sailfin one!

the gt may very well be aggressive when bigger but as he isnt now then i dont see a need to change anything.

as for the lobsters they are quite timid. they dont attack my fishes at all. infaqct these cichlids all tried eating my lobsters at first lol. the fish can hold their own believe me. i have had trouble with my oscars getting attacked in the past so therefore i dont have any oscars now.

you have to understand that if my fishes did not get along i will move them or find the right solution.

thanks all :) i'll take soem pics as they grow :)

I would say something about overstocked and fish being hurt by the lobsters and your breeding cons causing trouble, but I have just given up trying to say anything. I say, if you wanna do somethings that others advise against, go for it. It's your tank... If something happens, then you know who you have to blame

that's fine. from a 2d picture if that is what you feel then great. from my hours and mnoths with them then i have to say otherwise. all the fishes fins are in good condition. they don't fight. i have had trouble with jd's and socars before but fortunately these fishes are doing great as it is. no deaths or attacks from the lobsters either. as you can se ein oen pic a plec and lobster next to each other.

as for overstocked i don't think it is right now. they are living happily together.

thanks, i'm gonna make sure i look after them don't worry. these are my fishes and ive had them for a good few mnoths and want to get them to grow up big and happy. if i see trouble i will hopefully be able to sort it :)

i do realise once the fishes are bigger especially the gt and jd, it may be trouble but im prepared for it. i also already plan on going 2 fishes elss, and perhaps maybe getting rid of the tinfoils. i bought them as dither fish but it seems my fishes dont need anything to keep them distracted you could say. anyway cheers

ya its ur tank dude if ur water parameters are fine and the fish seem to be fine then ur tank is fine. that whole 3 fish for a 100 gal i hate that do what u want and if they start to fight then you have a problem but other then that the fish look great :good: the only thing that i would say is when those fish get bigger ur blue lobsters days will be numbered, i couldent keep the lobsters when i had my previous cichlid tank b.c the fish would eventually flip the lobster over on his back and then dinner was served
