Pinky VT male x blue CT female this time.
Paired them up on saturday...she went in the chimney and the male made a gorgeous bubble nest. Both fish were showing all the right signs so i let her out 24 hours later on sunday.
Bit of the usual rough and tumble and she went straight under the nest. Well i left them for a few hours and when i came back, the raft supporting the nest (floating plants) had moved to the other side of the tank and the nest had gone.
Put the girlie back in the chimney and the male proceeded to build another, much bigger nest.
Let her out today and with no exageration, she went straight under the nest and they started embracing withing a minute.
Spawning didn't last that long...maybe an hour so i don't expect too many eggs.
