Hi all, I've been reading from this site for a couple of months now and thought I'd post up a pic of my tank.
I've previously had a 2ft tank but when a mate at work upgraded his tank I got his old 3ft tank and set about setting up a half decent look.
I got a 3D background and fixed that in place and also used it to hide the filter (right hand side), bit of stone and wood and let the plants grow in (it's been up and running 6 months now)
Fish are....
3 yellow Labs
2 Rams
2 Cory's
2 sucking loach's

What do you think??

Cheers
Woody.

I dont mean to be a heccler, however, ive heard many many many people say not to mix SA and African Cichlids. Otherwise its beautiful

Really? Which ones will cause the problems?
They have been together for awhile now and I haven't seen any issues.

There is also the problem of water conditions. Yellow labs are Malawi cichlids and like hard alkaline water while rams need soft acid water.
Though the ram in your pic looks like it could be a bolivian ram which tolerate higher pH and hardness than gbrs. What species are your rams?

Bolivian rams. I'll keep an eye on them all and see how they get on.
