Heres my 2 boys....

Sparkles is a Veil tail whom ive had for over 3 years now. I bought him when he was 1-2 years old for $1.99. He was half dead in a tiny tiny cup.(nothing unsual there) He lives his little life in a 6 gallon and hes never been sick though he's survived falling 4 feet to the wood floor TWICE. He holds a special place in my heart.

Zues is my special Super Delta I bought a few months ago. His fins use to be butterfly coloration but I guess he was really young when I bought him because his back tail and face is still changing. He is always racing around his 5 gallon tank so its extremely hard to get a decent photo of him. This fish does not like flaring at all. Not even the MIRROR helps. I saw him flare like 3 times in the 4 months Ive had him. So beautiful

The last picture is when I first got him. You can see how much is back tail has changed.

im not really sure. It could be though. a while back when he was younger he lost almost all of the ventricles. They were just little stubbs. It wasn't really fin rot i dont think. They just disapeared then grew back even longer than ever

The Captain is an old boy and his ventrils are huge!!!

Radish is younger and his arn't so long so i guess it could be a sign of age.

And hasnt sparkles got different and strange colours to normal shop bettas.

They both very lovely though
