I have a small "breeding" setup, with breeding tanks and quarantine tanks. It includes 4 tanks currently but soon it will hold about 9/10 tanks and I use bubble filters on all of them. I wanted to know if they made an air pump that had multiple outputs so I can use only 1 outlet instead of using 10 outlets for each air pump. I have an extension thing but I still need plugs for lights and heaters.

I have one currently that has two outputs but I wanted one with more. Thanks much

Your terminology has confused me a bit.  Do you mean electrical "outlets" since you mention lights and heaters?

I have two air pumps for my sponge filter tanks, one has one air outlet and the other has two.  I am not aware of an air pump with more than two air outlets, though one might exist.  The easy method is to use an air valve unit.  One (or two) short bits of airline tubing from the air pump outlet to a valve unit, and then a line of tubing from each valve to the tank filter.  I use valves with four tank options, but there are larger ones.  Provided your air pump will operate several, this is easy.

Yes with the air outputs. I have seen some online but just didn't know of any other names or whatever they are called

Do you mean gang valves? Those are nice but I feel the air flow is divided up into three things and the filters doesnt receive all of the air power.

I have no problems with the gang valves.  If the air pump is of sufficient output, the valves just allow you to disseminate the air flow to multiple filters.  But the air pump has to have sufficient power for the number.  I have three tanks on one pump, two on another, and the air flow is very strong through all of them.

Do you only rely on air pumps to filter the tank?

if you want a multiple output airpump,  do a search for Danner airpumps on amazon...I  find their pumps to be the quietest of the ones I've tried.I use a dual outlet pump to feed an airstone out of one outlet and a sponge filter on the other one.  There is a control on th pump to adjust output.

If you wanted more airlines or air ornaments, you could get a gang valve and attach it to one of the outputs  to fine tune output to each one.

this is the one I bought for my 29 gallon...put out lots of air and is quiet....2 outlet---you could put a gang valve on one of them and run multiple airstones...adjustable airflow...just 3.5 watts...excellent reviews

I've owned it for about a year and still runs great

The airline is connected to a sponge filter, and that is the tank filter.  I use this on my smaller tanks, a 10g, 20g, two 29g, 33g and 40g.  The ten has a single sponge, the others have a dual sponge unit (two sponges on the single unit).
