Multies Breeding

i posted a topic up here a few weeks ago about my multies not breeding, well i just thought id come on and tell everyone that they have now finally bred

how many do u think the dominant male will let the numbers get to in a 24x15x12?

Congratulations!

I have a multie colony in a 15 gal (24x12x12). I started out with a mated pair back in June 06 and I figure there are about 40 fish in there now. Only about 5 are the size of the adult female. I think at least one of those is a male, based on behaviour. So far absolutely no problems with them getting along. Once I'm able to identify a sure pair I'll likely give them to a good home, I have a friend or two interested in them.

Neolamprologus multifasciatus, a shell-dwelling Old World cichlid, native to Lake Tanganyika in Africa.

A great option for a small tank but even more interesting if you can provide more space for them.
