he has been a bit off for a few days...even his girl friend couldnt cheer him up. Anyway I did a partial water change no good...so today I did a full water change and put a tiny bit of salt in. Now the only thing I can see wrong with him is red marks on the end of his fins? He has livened up and has just been flirting with the girl next door. Should I treat him for the red bits or leave alone?

If he were mine I'd treat, even as a precaution, cause that looks like the beginning of septecemia.

I have started treatment but at a low dosage...he is asking for food now and threatening the bread knife which someone left near his tank

Phew! I think he has gone.
the red marks on Mr Bojangles fins have gone I will put a tiny drop of meds in tonight and tomorrow and then it will be the full course.
