having a change around in my room an wanna move my fish tank could anyone tell me what the best way of doing so is???

uhh, possibly u could jsut get half the water out of the tank and put it in anoher place to hold and put it back in when u carefully move the tank or do a waterchange????

that's what i would do. lol..

thats what i was thinkin of doing....keeping as much of the water as pssible in buckets and then put 30% fresh water on to top it up.

You might also keep the fish in buckets while you move the tank. I prefer to remove almost all the water unless it's a small tank. ( under 10g) This insures that I am not likeky to have a leak after the move. Don T.

how long will the fish be ok in buckets for then??? also concidering buying a rekord 96 tank so can set up that tank and then move everything into that in 1 go. if i get all 54 litres of water out of my existing tank will it be ok to top the new tank up with like 42 litres of fresh water??

well usually about 2-3 hours, (so thats how logn mine have been in buckets for cleaning)

Before moving the tank take all the water out and alteast some of the gravel. The aquariums are just to heavy if not and it has a risk of breaking the glass
