Moving My 20 Gal Tank 5 Miles

okay so im moving back to my parents and gotta take my tank with all my fish(fish listed in signature, i have 6 molly fry) and its approx. 5 miles away, all in my car, but i was curious of the best way to do it. my uncle rec. putting them in a cooler, but my aunt said the plastic probably wont be good for them. i was thinking about bringing 50% of the water in a cooler perhaps, but bring the fish in bags i can get from the petstore. im not sure whats the best rout to go so im askin u guys for help , im scared of the cooler idea cuz them splashing around may hurt the fish especially the babies... and if i get bags, how many do i need, and how should i seperate all my fish(listed in sig.)

I recently moved a few miles and had to move a 10 gallon and a 5 gallon. I personally put all my fish from the 10 into a bucket full of tank water and emptied the tank and brought it to the house. Filled the tank and slowly intorduced them back into it. Took 1-3 hours from start to finish but everyone is still with me and its been 3-5 months now. Although I put my DP into a small plastic container with a lid that had holes poked in it.
