Hi, First visit here in a while and pleased to say I've had no fishy disasters in that time. I may have one about to happen though, so I hope I can ask for advice here.
I'm moving house at the end of the week. I have a small pleco, flying fox and a few tetra in about a 60 litre tank. Previously when I've moved I've picked up the keys to the new place a week or more before the move, so been able to set up my spare smaller (about 30 litre) aquarium to move the fish into temporarily.

This time I don't have that luxury. I get the keys to the new place on Friday, give back the keys to current place on Saturday. What I'm worried about is the fish not being in conditioned water when I move them. What's the best way to do the move?

Thanks in advance,
Kevin

take about half the water with you and in a seperate 1 gallon put the filter media in it, with a gallon or so of the rest to put the fish in if its like an hour drive, give them an extra gallon for each hour of driving.

then when you get there set up the tank, pour the old water in used declor for the rest, acclimate, and turn the filter on and presto
