Moving House

im moving house next week to allow for the 6ft tank im getting and the 2 4ft tanks and the 2ft tanks i already have.

what is the best way to transport the fish? im only moving about 2 miles away ( 10 mins max ) could i take out all the plants, wood, caves etc and leave 25% of the water in there to move the tank? i dont really want to catch them and bag them up, thats alot of stress for them. also will the bacteria in my filter die?

EDIT: the 2 4ft tanks are not set up, only the 2ft.

you need to move the tanks completely empty or ypu run a big risk of cracking them i moved about the sme distance a few months ago and this is how i did it, i didnt have what i could use as a a holding tank so i washed my bath out with boiling water to get rid of any soap residues then rigged up heater and filter in the bath put all my fish in there drained tank moved it re-filled it hooked up heaters filters etc then transported the fish a few at a time in buckets ( with other half holding them as i drove). i didnt lose a single fish. your filter bacteria will be fine for that short amount of time as long as it doesnt dry out.
