Moving House - Moving Media?

Hi folks

I'm moving house tomorrow and thus will be moving my aquarium. However, i'm worried about the media in my filter. How do I transport my media filled filter without killing the media??? It took me 3 months to create the media and I dont want to go through all that again!!

Your comments would be much appreciated.

The same as fish, bag with 1/3 water, 2/3 air. Keep it at room temperature.

Doesn't need to be submerged, as long as its wet - and running again within a few hours, it will be fine.... but note - it HAS to be running as soon as poss... simply kept in water isn't enough !
It will also need "feeding".... as long as theres fish in there too, thats that - but if you are letting it stand for a day or more, you will need to add some ammonia.
