Moving A Juwel Rio 125 Help Asap Thank You!

Hi

I have a planted Juwel Rio 125 I need to move it into the living room out of a bedroom we live in a bungelow so all rooms on one level! Will I need to pull down the whole tank or can I drain down just to the substrate and move?

I ask this because its going back in the same room once we have decorated so it would be a nightmare pulling the substrate up as its peat balls that are soft like mud!

Any ideas?

If you're not moving it far, and it sounds like you're not, I think you'll get away with leaving the substrate in. Though I'd take all water and everything else out. Glass is more fragile when filled and moving, so be very careful.
