In the past I've had 2 cases where my female corys would get a mouth sore after spawning. Is this normal? The one's sore got very deep. What's the best way to treat this? I plan on breeding my corys before too long, and I want to be prepared in case this happens again.

Do they still have the sores, or did they ever clear up?  Were they localized to the mouth area, or extending down their stomach?

Possibly Red Blotch Disease?

Well, the one died (it got very skinny if I remember correctly), and the other slowly recovered. No, it only was in the mouth region.

It could just be an injury from the spawning (aggressive male or such) but I would keep an eye out as this should not really happen.

Yeah, it hasn't happened for quite some time. I'll let you guys know if there is any future problems. :)

Thanks for the help!
