is it possible to get any kind of moss to grow onto bogwood? if so what kinds of moss, and is it the same as normal methods of attaching plants to bogwood, just elastic band them on?

yes, pretty much all moss grows on bogwood. i just put it on the wood then wrap around and around.

Clear fishing line is ideal to attach moss to wood as it is discreet and you can wind it round multiple times. It also won't rot away like a rubber band or cotton before the moss has had a chance to root in.

have you had any problems of gourmi's eating moss??

i have been looking at the kinds available, and was looking for either xmas moss, or peacock moss, but dont want my gourmi's to ruin my design!!!

you can use a plent net to wrap around the wood or stone.

My gourami didn't eat moss, my angels do however. Up to the individual fish sometimes.
