Moss Balls?

i'm setting up a new 9 gallon tropical tank and i've been told to order some moss balls for it. Would they help my tank cycle better? Would they be benefical to the tank?

Doubt it, they grow really slowly. You'd be better of with fast growing plants like rotala.
