ok so my next question is:
when the fry start to swim and you take the male out and you start to feed them the micro worms, do you need to worry about the bubble nest and is it ok at this point if it starts to pop?

The fry will not eat anything until they have left the nest. At that point tradition says you remove the male.

so when the fry are free swimming and the male is taken out at that point; the fry can be fed and the nest is no longer needed? - right?
