Cheers Steve,

I have a juwel rio 240 so i already have a twin set of tubes although i am only getting about 1.4 watts per gallon. i am thinking of fitting the moonlight tubes on the back flap, do you reckon that sticky pads will be okay given the condensation that is apparent ?

Cheers

Just

what's the difference between moonlight tubes and say a dim incandescent bulb? I ask because I have a full spectrum light on my 10 and It has a small light sensitive light on it. It cuts on whenever I switch off the big light. Would this be ok. It looks really cool.

I have been told it will cost around £25 to fit the starter unit and tube, does that sound about right?? I can't do it myself, and hubby is a do it yourself walking disaster :hyper:

A cold cathode kit of ebay with an AC adapter would only cost around £15,
With regard to the brightness, i fitted a variable adapter on mive so i can turn the lights up or down.
