Month Old Guppy Fry Eating Plec Pellets......

Sorry to hear that. They won't die from being overfed directly. Fry are supposed to eat more to grow. They'd suffer if the overfeeding is causing mini ammonia spikes as the filtration may not cope depending on tank setup.
But one fry out of the bunch just happens.  It could have had birth defect, just like humans.

i understand. i keep getting a lot of mess at the bottom of the tank so i dont think the filter is that good, but i keep removing the mess and doing water changes every week. yes i think it was a birth defect, it is the first one ive lost and ive still got 77 left! so thats not to bad i suppose

Wow, with 77 left there's no question you've got a lot to clean after :) Good luck with them. They are looking healthy. It will be an interesting sight when they fully colour up.

I can't wait to see them with all their colours. Some have blue tails that are now changing to orange. I want to keep them all but I know it's not possible as I think the tank will be over stocked.

They are lovely, but the growing hasn't stopped yet :)
The tails and dorsals of mine grew and grew for months, maybe 5-6 months

How is the adult tank doing that the gourami was in? Do you monitor water params.? Also, are you going to separate the male and female fry? as they will soon be pregnant, and you don't want to end up with inbred fry :/

All fancy guppies are inbred. That's how the different colours and strains were achieved.

The adult tank is fine now, I took the Molly back to the shop I got it from and the gourami that it was bullying died. I think the Molly had completely ruined him by the time I took the Molly out. I kept testing the water as I was worried about something being wrong but everything seemed fine. I'm always testing it, I think I'm paranoid about it being wrong.

And the fry, well, some of them are definatly pregnant, I had almost 75% females and the rest males. I did have 3 different batches in there so hopefully they didn't get friendly with their siblings and went for one of the other batches lol.

lol. And snazy I am quite aware of how inbred guppies are, but I see no reason to continue to inbreed when it is unnecessary as it only produces weaker guppies....

My male wasn't inbred, his parents were non-related as one was a pure endler(father) and one was a fancy guppy(mother) so no relation. My females however... They may have been inbred considering a customer took them in after they'd put 8 guppies(2 males, 6 females) into a 30 gallon and let them do their thing for a few years XD That's how my females were produced.

Are you saying the guppies are weak because of poor tank maintenance? I have had guppies for a year along with my tank.... Right now I have 2 fish that came from my original set of fish a year ago. They are definitely strong because they survived a tank catastrophe caused by my tap water having high levels of ammonia in it... (Not joking... still trying to get the landlord to do something about it) I have since added 4 females to the tank... we will see how they do... the lfs I use gets their fish from Seagrest Farms

There are many reasons for weak guppies I have not found  that  inbreeding produces weaker guppies or fry, I know you are
not joking guppies are strong fish

I was refering to the high ammonia levels in my tap water when I was saying not joking..... I think its ridiculous that there is ammonia in it.
