Nice fish Flumps! They look like those hershey kisses that are all swirled with white and dark chocolate!

It is a goal of mine to keep an outdoor tank on my screened in porch with archer fish in it! (Unfortunately, I dont own a house yet!, but I will) I saw in a magazine once how cool they can be and the author showed a pictorial of how he trained the fish to 'shoot' the food he held above the tank. If you are able to get a pic of your archer, I would love to see it!

Wow they're really cool, they kind of look like dwarf angels and black skirt tetras in one, Really cool little guys.

Well, they get big, so they won't be dwarf for long :)

Isnt that the truth! Monos grow super fast, before you know it they will be at adult sizes. What SG do you have your tank at?

It's completely freshwater right now (all the fish in the tank are very young, and came from freshwater at the LFS). I'm going to up the SG each week until I get to 1.010. In fact, I think I'll do my first water change tomorrow just to get some salt in the water.

EDIT: First water with some salt in it, I've done water changes before :)

Hi

Lovely Monos. Just A few Questions. How many Monos have you got and how long have you had them and do they get along. I am asking because when I had Monos after about three weeks they were trying to kill each other. I was left with just one as I had to give the other two back to the lfs. I just got myself a bigger tank and would like to try a scholl of them again.

:good: They are beautiful!!! They get big too, and when they do they are gonna be stunners. I put those in a class with freshwater angelfish. They are just like saltwater butterfly fish, Beautiful!! Nice pick up on those!

Funny thing is, I don't like angelfish. I like the sebaes because they're so fast and I just love the way they swim.

Sabby, I haven't had them long. I have a group of 4. Hopefully I won't have the same problem you did, but I'll keep an eye on it.
