Fish Give Away

My community tank was overflowing with yellow tiger endlers and my African tank had about 15 Julidochromis transcriptus juveniles that had to go. I rehomed these extra fish to a new aquarist friend. I’m glad they found a caring home. These two tanks are manageable again.

Well I just discovered another 10 j. transcriptus juveniles in my African tank. They were hiding in the rocks. These guys breed as fast as guppies. I can’t accommodate them all. I will have to rehome most of them. They are very difficult to net. I first have to lower the water level by 20 gallons and then remove most of the rocks. I use a temporary tank divider to isolate them to one part of the tank. It is a labor intensive project.
