Molly Looks Like A Little Shark?

ok ive had a batch of molly fry, their about 12 days old, i think, lost count now, anyway i was looking at them this morning and noticed my little black molly has a really strange top fin, its small and pointy, id post pics but its still small and my fingerisnt fast enough to snap a pic of it yet. i dont know what types the dad/dads were but the mother is just a normal molly, could it be deformed or is it liely to still be developing its fin? hes cute eitherway! been after a balck molly for ages!

Deformities are quite common fish that are bred for aquariums. Mollies are fish that are bred for certain colors and traits, so it's quite common to see deformities occur in these fish. I have a pair of Platies that are bent at 35 degrees in the middle. They probably would be eaten in the wild, but in artificial conditions of a tank, you will see it quite often.
