What i would do if i was you is go in toy our local fish store and ask them where the communnity section is (which u prob know) then if u see something u like, double check by asking them if its ok..

There is lots u can keep with mollies.

Hi Alind

What fish do you have with your mollys at the moment? i know you took some back...

Rosy barbs tend to be nippy, like most barbs, although i think cherry barbs are more friendly.

Or harlequin rasboras are very peaceful fish :)

Yes mam,
i took 3 mollies back and sold all other stock!
and now i have only 3 male mollies.

my nephew has 6 rosy barbs, and he is now not intrested in fishes any more
and offerd me to keep them.

should i take them ?

Friend actually here the people at LFS are really Layman !!
Belive me some suggest to keep a gold fish in a 2 liter bowl and
some suggest to keep goldfish with mollies .
I suffered alot by this .

So its better t oask you friends to suggest me beautifull and long living fishes.

Rosy barbs prefer cooler temperature, around 22 degrees c,being the top range, what temp is your tank with the mollys?

They may be ok,i've never kept them, but they can grow up to 5 inches, thats quite a lot of load on your 7g tank...

How about getting some neons to add some nice colour, maybe some corys? or how about maybe some danios, or some tetras

Neons are called neon tetras, or glowlight tetras...

Is this what your silver fish looked like? its a red eyed tetra

Neons are neon tetras, they grow to only about 3 cm long and are quite thin compared to mollies. Around here, you could get 2 neons for the price of one nice molly. Another fish that looks quite similar is a cardinal tetra. Unless you are observant, you will not be able to tell them apart from neons. In the neons, the color striping only goes part of the body length while in a cardinal it goes the full length. Neons look nothing like glowlight tetras so I don't know where that came from. I do like a glowlight tetra's looks but it is nothing like a neon.
You can read up on cardinal tetras here or neon tetras here see the last picture or the glowlight tetras here.

Yeah baffles me that too, quite a few of my lfs have written on the tanks neon/glowlight tetras.. i always wondered why
