i have a 20 gallon tank and about 18 dalmatian mollies i have raised from birth. they are all growing fine, but one of my males looks like he is actually getting smaller. he was growing big like the other but now he looks way smaller than he did a couple month ago.

Might be getting bullied out of food? just a thought. Probably nothing to worry about I have a handful of platys from the same liter and they range in size. best of luck to ya.

.....Or it could be he has parasites or is ill and and is losing weight. I would keep a close eye on him at feeding time and if he looks like hes getting his fair share then it is probably one of the other reasons mentioned - fish should not shrink .

Maybe the other fish have grown more than he has and only he now looks smaller.
I would keep an eye on him like was suggested above.
