Mollies Fighting.

I did a big water change today due to an ammonia spike. There must of been roughly 20-30lts left in the tank. When the water level was at its lowest my 2 mollies started fighting with each other. They wrapped themselves round each other swimming upside down nipping each other. Once I started filling the tank back up they left each other alone and started swimming normally. Is this normal behaviour with low water levels?

Its a silver Mollie and a dalmation Mollie.

i would say so yes...
if the water is low i surpose they fight for survival. whoever lives gets to live...
