Mmm Snails Not Just For Puffers.

I was picking up some free pest snails to eat extra food in fry tank. But also as food. The kid at the store was suprised to know snails are not just for puffers. My cichlids love them so do the tetras. As long as they can fit in thier mouth.

Have you ever fed your fish snails what ones like them.

my cardinal tetras, danios and even guppies occasionally pick up a tiny snail in their mouth, but they always spit it out.

All fish love them! I squish them when they are small between my fingers and just drop them in - they fight over them and spit the shell out!

id be careful about squishing them, these guys often carry a lot of microbes, some very dangerous even to humans.
