Mixing Shrimps?

Hey guys,

Is it possible to mix different species of shrimps?

I have two Amano Shrimps currently, woudln't want anymore as these two seem very happy. But was wondering if it was possible to put in 2 cherry shrimp, or any other kind in with them?

any shrimp will be ok with amanos as they need brackish water to have surviving eggs so there is no probs with interbreeding etc if you go for more than 1 more species then just do some searching and make sure they wont interbreed. most shrimp will live together in peace except the clawed type.....

if you can find a local breeder then they will be way cheaper and probably much better colouring
