I would like to mix in a few other types of Kribs with my Pelvicachromis pulcher (common krib). Is this possible? Will they interbreed? I have a 55 with 5-6 Kribs in it now and everyone gets along fine. I'm wanting to swap out 3 Pulcher's for a pair of taeniatus.

It is possible for them to crossbreed :)

I don't see any problem with your 55 gal arrangement . [ seems big enough , plenty of cover , plants rocks , lots of caves are a good idea ;) ]

Kribs are much like new world cichlids in there behavior and care , but are a west African cichlid . :D

As Lucky62 says - it is quite possible for them to Interbreed. I wouldnt worry about mixing them in a tank of that size.

I would think they will be fine and will make an interesting combination.
