I've currently got a breeding net in my QT tank, containing 6 quickly growing Pearl Danio fry, now 1-1.5cm long after five weeks.

In the last couple of days, a new batch of 12 "mosquito larvae"-esque fry have been netted from the Rio240 and put in with the older fry.

Are there good odds that the bigger fry will see the 0.5cm microfry as dinner, or can they be safely left together?

I'm still unsure as to what species the new fry are, they were VERY quick in the Rio and a nightmare to catch, hiding in the surface plant leaves rather than staying close to the glass-water surface interface like the original Pearl Danio fry. The Yellowtails have been spotted doing "shimmering dances" for the last week, so part of me wonders if they are Yellowtail fry, which would be awsome, as I think the adults were wild caught!
