Missing Fish...

I came back from a 12-day holiday two days ago.
Did a fish count to find that one female guppy was missing!
I did a water change s well, but couldn't find any form of remains or bones .

I have a lid so there's no chance it could have jumped.

This platy was also extremely inactive for the several weeks leading up...
What could have happened?

Do fish eat the remains of fish that has died?
How long would it take for a dead fish to decompose?

Fish will eat thier remians, and if ya have a plec in ya tank, it would of easily made mincemeat of a dead fish.

3 golden loaches? The body would be gone in three days.

Have you checked inside the filter - its been known for fish to find their way in there.
