Miniscule Something Skittered Across My Tank?

As I was looking in my tank this morning checking on everyone, I noticed a tiny, tiny something that would move about a quarter-inch at a time very fast. I thought it was something on the outside, but when I went to squish it with my finger, I realized it was INSIDE the tank!!! What could it have been??? Heavens, I don't need anything else! Please help!

I also noticed yesterday that there seems to be an algae bloom or something ... little "floaties" in the water, which is still clear. Ugh.

Which tank? I imagine it could well be fry as you have livebearers in both of the 'main' tanks.

Sorry! It was in the 55 gallon.

And, it was too small to be a fry. Picture the tip of a sharpened pencil!

Fast and small in the 55gal... my vote deffo goes for a molly fry.

Hmm rule out the molly fry then lol. Maybe just keep an eye out? See if you can get a pic? There is nothing I can think of off the top of my head that is particularly common and fast moving. I mean there are lots of little beasties common in tanks...
