Good evening lads n lassies

My daughter has a 48ltr interpet tank that has been set up and running for about 2 months now and to be blunt the filter that came with the tank is utter crap ........... Any way can some tell me if there is a mini external filter out there that would be suitable.....that is not to expensive

Thanks in advance

Ian

i have bought filters from all pond solutions. great cheap little filters starting at about £9 with free delivery. there is a 10% off code on here somewhere if you search all pond solutions

Edit * i read your post as "internal filter" for some crazy reason. not sure external will be as cheap as £9 sorry

Link works for me. Looks quite a nifty little thing.

Anyone who can't open it, search external filter 150 on their site and it's the £19.99 one.

i have a fluval fx5 that i will be selling, would give you a good turnover in your tank!!!:hey::lol:

the link isn't working for me, but if its this i use it on a 40 litre and it's great. It's relatively quiet and the water is crystal clear. However, if you use the spray bar (included) the flow is more of a dribble :good:

That's the one. I'm eyeing it up for my guppy grow out tank now.

i have one off them small externals somewhere in a cupboard hiding its head in shame!!!

had it running on a 30lt un planted low stock tank in my kitchen and found it to keep losing flow which was a shame as its a nice little filter and water was crystal clean when it was running right.

i tried pump hanging on side of tank as intended, tried it sitting on side beside the tank, rang it with and without media.never used the spray bar.just couldnt get it to play ball so i gave up with it.
