Ok so I have 2 pepper cories that made it through a cycle (long story, let's just say the bacteria in a bottle did not work) and just added two male guppies yesterday. The tank has been fully cycled for a week.
Tested water today:
Ammonia:just a trace amount
Nitrite:about .20
Nitrate:5ppm
Btw this is a 10 gallon tank (I know pepper will need a new tank I'm working on it, but working with what I have now) should I do a water change NOW or leave it but keep close eye on it? Since the levels are all low, so I don't get rid of the beneficial bacteria trying to get rid of the nitrites?
