Has it been really that long? Bettas are hard to photograph for me, but I noticed a large bubblenest in Mime's 2.5g planted tank, and decided to take some photos of him. He hasn't grown much, still a tiny man, but he sure is purty. I'd guess he's nearly two now, right Synirr?

The tank is an easy setup with cheap tank, cheap lighting, cheap filter, cheap substrate, and leftover plant cuttings from my larger tanks, and not especially hard to maintain. Just one of the many options to consider if housing a betta. But the credit belongs to Synirr for sending me such a wonderful little fish. His brother is still going strong too.
