hi all im the new owner again of some more babies to my mickey mouse platty,
was doing my weekly water change when the filter tipped my baby box over with my mollies in (opps) managed to collect about 5 back and rescue them, but then i noticed my platty was dropping some fry out so have managed to get her in the seperate birthing tank and have 2 so far, but dont know how many are in the tank hiding, im so excited to actually see one of my fish give birth haha
love this forum i get to tell my stories lol

The platty dropped fry when it had fell out? The chances are they wont make it D: It would have been a premature birth due to stress and panic. You can keep an eye on them but am not 100% you'll get fry :S

no i seen the plattie dropping the fry on the bottom of the tank by my stones so i grabbed her up and seperated her from the rest of my fish she had 2 in the birthing tank so far but now i cant see them but i have baby molly fry in their so weather they have ate them or not i dont know, the molly fry am only about 2 weeks old
and the platty is due anytime so not a premature birth
